LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE

  • Guarantee is void if you refuse delivery of your package, or if no one is available to receive the package on first attempt.
  • In the unlikely event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), please send a clear digital picture within 1 hour of delivery. 
  • We may ask you to ship back the deceased animal, so please do not dispose of it. 
  • Once we get  the digital photos, and we receive the deceased specimen (if applicable), we will issue you store credit
  • Please also include condition of the package.
  • Does not apply to local pickups.
  • "Expert Only" fish and invertebrates come with a live arrival guarantee only.  Due to their delicate nature and care, it does not allow us to offer the 7 day guarantee.
  • Corals come with a live arrival guarantee only. Due to their delicate nature and care it does not allow us to offer the 7 day guarantee
  • Deceased livestock that perished due to aggression, jumping out of the tank and other non-health related causes of death are not covered.
  • We cannot guarantee the handling and delivery service provided by shipping companies such as USPS or FedEx.
  • We do not offer any guarantee on losses due to shipping company errors or weather delays as these are strictly beyond our control.
  • We do not offer any guarantee if you provide us with an incorrect address.
  • We do not guarantee an exact color match to the photos posted on our site, all livestock may vary slightly. (excludes WYSIWYG Sections)
  • Credit on Credit Orders will be given on purchases as a percentage.  The value of the credit will be determined by the cash percentage of the order.  I.E: a $100 order using $30 Credit will give a 70% credit value towards any guarantees.





7 DAYS KEEP-SWIMMING GUARANTEE (FISH ONLY)

All fish conditioned by you are guaranteed for 7 days. To receive a credit in the event of a loss:

  • Email 3 or more photos of the fish laid out on a piece of paper to info@maxreef.com
  • Each claim is reviewed with consideration given on a case-by-case basis. We may ask for further proof.
  • Claims due to the following are not covered: missing body, lack of a sand bed for a sand-burrowing fish, bullying, fighting or aggression; jumped fish; and torn bodies as a result of being sucked into pumps.
  • If a claim is approved we will issue you a credit toward your next purchase. 
  • We do not issue refunds on the 7-Day Guarantee, only credit.
